I've been reading Building Patterns by Suzie Furrer It looks like a great book. Has anyone read it? Thoughts and opinions?

Hi Garry, I did not read the book, but I took classes with her on Craftsy. She is a very good teacher (so I assume the book is good also). She is using a French method of pattern making system: first a moulage, than the slopers from the moulage. Basically the same as Kenneth King. The system is really good, but a little bit more time consuming.

Somebody had a macro on PMUG to draft the moulage, but it was for version 6. Maybe it's still there. Judit

Gary, I forgot to tell : if you can make a macro to draft the moulage or/and the slopers from it for ver.7 or 7.5, I will definitely buy it ...😊 Thanks, Judit

I'm planning to draft the moulage and perhaps the skirt sloper. I'd be interested in testers.

Gary, I would like to help you, but I do not know exactly what a tester has to do ?

I have a "not easy to fit" body... is it OK for testing?

Also, please let me when you want it. In November I'm not going to have to sew at all... After there is no problem.
