In my attempts to learn grading:
I brought 4 sizes of the same design (only a front and back piece to make it easier) in via a bmp. Redrew them individually and saved them individually in my file folder - Patterns > Personal Files
I am trying to experiment with grading them. Ive gone through Leena's tutorial for grading a macro. At this point, changing the layers is where I get hung up. It won't let me do it.
My immediate goal is to grade 4 patterns in 8 sizes.
I have every intention of purchasing the program and am ready to, as soon as I can see that it will accomplish this.
But for now, I would like to see that I can grade this one pattern with only 2 pieces. My learning curve will definitely get over the bump if I can do this!

You choose: Change object and in the windows which opens you choose layer. After this you click the object and the layer done. But if you want to grade be sure you have renamed the layers with the name of the size. Otherwise you will early be lost. Best is layer 0 to be the smallest of your size.

Thank you Heidi.
This is working for the most part.
I am working with 2 pattern pieces for practice.
I laid them on top of each other and added arrows on each point.
The vertexes on the side front piece did not expand to the next sizes, but all others did.
The back piece looks good.
I'll keep trying to see what I'm doing wrong.
