I've just discovered that I can import a bmp into my PM screen.
I'm making sure I don't do this through configure defaults
Is there an easy way to scale ?
I've made an 8X10 rectangle along with my bmp file and tried to match it up with the grid, but then I have tiny pattern pieces.
I simply want my bmp file drawing to magnify so I can see what I'm doing.
You guys are great. thanks.

You can use the resize command for this. Look at resize a pattern with different height and width

OK thanks.
I see that the lower left hand corner is static so I'll position my image correctly.
What I did was draw a X & Y line and lined that corner up.
is there a command so I can draw an exact length line?
If my back length on a pattern piece is 17.5", I can draw a line and resize accordingly.
Second question - not related.
I'm just working with a front and back piece for simplicity.
Saved in 2 sizes. I want to create a grading table. I am following instructions on creating a grading table with PM Macros. I've got that figured out.
The same steps aren't working with patterns that I created.
What am I doing wrong?

I figured out how to draw a line with a specific length

What's going wrong with your grading efforts?

Well,
I open my saved file that has a front and a back pattern piece.
Before I do that, I choose Layer 1 from the drop down menu.
My intent was to choose Layer 0 after the file opened and then open the next size (saved) of the same pattern.
However, I can choose Layer 1, but when the pattern opens, it reverts back to Layer 0.
All I get is the "save file" question box when I try to open the other size.
Hope this makes sense.

you must not use open. You must use the icon under it. The 2 sheats of paper one over the other. This will add the saved one to the other

Thank you Heidi. This works for me.
